You do not need to apply special chemicals to ensure hygiene.

Belenco is a dirt-resistant surface with its non-porous structure that does not absorb liquid. Quartz, which makes up about 90% of its composition, eliminates the abrasive effects of chemicals. Substances such as tea, coffee, vinegar, lemon, colored spices that may cause permanent staining of other countertop materials or abrasion on their surfaces do not affect Belenco.

A damp cotton cloth and a small amount of mild neutral liquid detergent (glass surface cleaner or dish soap) are sufficient for daily cleaning. If you wipe the residues dripping or smearing on the surface before they dry and turn into permanent dirt, you can preserve the sparkling appearance of your surface for many years with a simple cleaning. After cleaning with detergent, it is important to rinse the surface thoroughly with sufficient water and then dry it, so that both your health and the natural appearance of the surface are not damaged over time.

Against tough stains
Dried stains are difficult to remove and require more effort. Therefore, clean the dirt and stains that occur on your countertop before it dries. Use a plastic spatula to remove difficult dirt such as dried food and drink residues, hair dye, nail polish, glue, paint residues. First gently scrape the stain with the plastic spatula and then clean the surface with a soft cloth and liquid detergent (glass surface cleaner or dishwashing liquid). After cleaning, rinse the surface with a sufficient amount of water and dry it.
The surfaces should not be left to dry before the cleaning product is thoroughly rinsed.
Against rust and oil stains
Take care not to create stains that are difficult to remove, such as rust stains and heavy oil stains. In cases where such stains are encountered, it is necessary to use oil and rust remover products; such strong chemicals are substances that damage surfaces.
Therefore, be very careful in their use. These products with a high pH level should only be applied on the stain and should be rinsed with sufficient water as soon as possible. If left on the surface for a long time or if not rinsed well enough, these cleaning agents may cause Belenco colors to fade or the surface to deteriorate.
Why should you keep your countertop dry?
If the tap water is not kept dry because of its high lime content, the lime in the tap water accumulating on the edge of the sink and behind it over time will precipitate and cause lime residues accumulating on the surface. The biggest mistake made to remove the hardened lime residues on your quartz surface is to use a lime remover. Because limescale remover is a highly concentrated, acidic chemical and when removing lime from your quartz countertop, it damages the surface.
Most of the chemical cleaners sold commercially in the markets are produced as concentrates and can be very acidic (ph:0-4) or very basic (ph:10-12) chemical structure. It is recommended to use such chemical cleaners diluted (like a lid to a bucket of water).

Do not let stubborn dirt dry on your counter. It is recommended to wipe such difficult stains with a damp cloth before drying and to dry the surface.

Some cooking methods cause the heat to reach the counter by reflection and accumulate where it is reflected, causing damage to the surface. Do not apply bleach, paint remover, paint and varnish thinners (chemicals such as thinner, trichloroethane or methylene chloride) on your countertop. Strong bases with a pH above 8.5 and acids with a very low pH, such as hydrochloric acid, cause your countertop to fade and its smooth surface to deteriorate.
Do not apply these products on the counter, they should not interact with the counter for a long time:
