Calisco

Regular Cleaning
Thanks to Calisco's non-porous structure, cleaning with a damp cloth and soap or a mild detergent will be enough to make the Calisco surface look great. After cleaning, rinse the soap with hot water and dry with a cloth or paper towel. Another option is to clean with a vinegar and water mixture and then rinse. Do not use cleaning products containing particles due to their abrasive effects. Prefer gel or liquid type cleaning materials.

Stubborn Food Stains
On a damp cloth or paper towel, apply some non-abrasive, low-bleach detergent. Clean the surface by wiping in circular motions and rinse immediately. For difficult stains such as metal traces and rust, pour a small amount of this detergent on the surface of the dish sponge, rub lightly and rinse immediately. We recommend that you clean your Calisco surface at regular intervals in order to preserve its first day appearance.

Durability
Calisco is resistant to breakage, cracking, scratches and stains. However, it can be damaged by excessive impact and pressure from different objects. Like any surface, it can be permanently damaged when exposed to strong chemicals.

Although Calisco surfaces are resistant to scratches, do not expose them to sharp and pointed tools. The use of a cutting board is always recommended.

residues
Food scraps, chewing gum, etc. First scrape the dried sticky residues with a plastic or wooden kitchen utensil. Then clean it with a damp cloth and detergent so that there are no traces, then rinse immediately. Do not use an abrasive material to clean tough dirt so as not to damage the surface gloss.

Chemicals and Cleaners That Should Not Be Used
Oven-cooker cleaners, floor cleaners, dishwashing machine detergent, toilet bowl cleaners, furniture cleaners, sink drain cleaners, stain removers, battery acids, etc. Exposure of your counter to these chemicals and cleaners for a long time may cause permanent damage or discoloration on the surface. Your surface is potentially damaging this etc. When exposed to a material, rinse immediately with water to avoid its effects.

Thermal Resistance
Although Calisco is structurally more resistant to heat compared to any surface, including granite, it can be damaged by sudden and rapid thermal changes like any surface. Therefore, it is always recommended to use a trivet under all kinds of electrical heating and cooking devices and appliances. Freshly taken from the fire and hot pots and pans, etc. Do not place cooking utensils directly on the Calisco surface.
